About Stackhouse, Nexsen and Turrietta, PLLC

The firm had its beginnings in 1956 and through the years
certain senior partners have changed, one has been appointed
to the bench, others have formed their own firms.

The firm currently consists of four partners, two associates,
and two paralegals.

We are general counsel to and helped organize and initiate
Heritage Bank & Trust Company, an independent bank which has
enjoyed substantial growth and progress.

We are also counsel for various local and interstate businesses,
and have been involved in major real estate transactions involving
both raw land and commercial property. The firm has been involved
in many major corporate reorganizations and arrangements, and
has enjoyed the privilege of serving in court-appointed capacities
in numerous bankruptcy matters.

Our litigation experience has ranged from contractual disputes to
environmental law, personal injury, maritime, and family law matters,
and a diverse assortment of litigation in between.

We regularly represent three insurance companies in local litigation.
